In an effort to support students, teachers and schools by providing them with the tools they need to succeed during the school year, Kolter Urban, LLC celebrated its 1st Annual Back to School Drive by collecting 240 backpacks filled with school supplies and classroom donations totaling $9,000 to six school districts throughout Florida.
Kolter Urban identified schools and educational groups located in the communities they are working, building, and living in and were able to fill the following wish lists:
Oak Park Elementary School (Tampa, FL): 50 Backpacks packed with supplies
Achievement Centers for Children and Families (Delray Beach, FL): 90 Backpacks packed with supplies
Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School (Riviera Beach, FL): 100 Backpacks packed with supplies
St Petersburg YMCA: $2,500 donation to Annual Giving Campaign to fund youth programs for students in the area
Tiny Hands Foundation (Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto Counties): $2,500 donation to sponsor 100 students
